Of course, this is far beyond most mods, and would require something like a variable ENB tied to stats, which would be a huge hassle. Add in a shivering sound or idle rubbing hands together animation, and you can pretty easily create a non-mechanical incentive to make players feel a visceral reward for getting warm. When you're by a fire or in a warm inn, color returns to the world. What I'm referring to is that, when you aren't warm enough, color grading shifts slightly into the greys and certain ranges get desaturated, with the notable exception of heat sources. Frostfall does the frost crystals at the edge of the screen, but that's more of an "Oh shit" alert. This starts well before any mechanical malus, indicating the "I could definitely eat" mindset of being peckish.
